From Myanmar to a Mac
Editing the Burma film
We’re working on a short film about one man who coordinated relief efforts in Burma/Myanmar following Cyclone Nargis in 2008. Here you see editor Andrew Gallo working in Final Cut and After Effects on his Mac laptop. (It’s amazing how much the industry has changed over the years–it used to take a lot more equipment to do the same thing!) Producing this project has been a sobering job because we’ve seen so many images of suffering and loss. But it’s also been a privilege to document the gracious generosity of those who gave to this relief effort and those who bravely carried out the work.
